We now offer Red Onyx pearl. The Onyx colors first came on the
scene by the Rogers drum company in the early 1960s who offer this color.
Slingerland drum company in the later 1960s followed by offering this
color, calling it "Red Agate Pearl". Even though the
Slingerland drum company sold more drums than Rogers, the Rogers drum
company is more associated with this wrap line. (See History of Drum
Wrap/Pearl Wrap History)
This finish is made from the same factory that supplied both companies
listed above. This material is made 30 mil thick (30/1000 of an
inch), which makes it more durable and long lasting. Give us
a call if you would like to get this incredibly 3-D looking finish for
your drums.
