Pictures sent in (June 2008) by Steve Hlabse from Wickliffe, Ohio of his
snare drum. Superb work Steve!
Steve writes:
Here are a couple of pictures of my first attempt to build a drum from
scratch- drilling, snare bedding and all. Wrap, vent, lugs, and rods are all from Jammin
Sam. The hoops and shell I got at a local drum store. It is a 5x14,
10 ply maple shell. I chose red because of the blood of Jesus- I am a drummer at our church.
I built this drum around October of 2006, sorry it took so long to get pics to
you. I played it during worship services a few times and gave it to my 30 year old
son (drummer also since he was about 6) as a Christmas gift. Steve

Pictures sent in (June 2008) by Steve Hlabse from Wickliffe, Ohio of his
marching snare drum. Great job Steve!
Steve writes:
Here is a picture of a "rescued from the junk pile" parade snare.
It is a Dewey. I am not sure of it's age or anything else. I put
a Pearl snare throw-off and Remo heads on it. The red gloss wrap is from Jammin
Sam, so is the brass colored vent. I finished the hardware in a baked on hammered gold finish.
I served in the Marine Corps almost 40 years ago...scarlet and gold are the Marine Corps
colors. Thanks a ton. God bless you and your company. Steve Hlabse

Picture sent in (January 1999) by Dean Collier of Bowling Green, Kentucky of his
Slingerland drum set. Excellent work Dean!
Dean writes:
The . . . red material looks great on this kit. I'm very happy with
my order. They sound great, and now thanks to you they look
great. Thanks for being the best. I picked you out of 12 other
covering companies, and I'm glad I did.
Note: This picture was taken with our old "Red", but the
wrap color in this picture is similar to our new "Bright Red".
We would like to feature your drums with our wrap here.
