Pictures sent in (March 2006) by Garth Grob from Vermilion, Ohio of his Slingerland drum set.  Great work Garth!

Garth writes:
Here are a couple of pictures I thought you might like.  The concert snare is an original Slingerland finish in excellent shape. The Jazz kit is all recovered with your Vintage White Pearl. The match is about as close as you can get. I cannot say enough good things about your product.  I play in a band called the "Windjammers Big Band." I feel
like I'm going back in time when I play this beautiful vintage set. Your Vintage White Pearl makes this set fit the band and the music perfectly. Your product helps makes dreams come true for all of us "Buddy Rich" wanna be's.  Best regards, Garth R. Grob

Picture sent in (January 2007) by Jason Shoemaker from Roseville, California of his Preimer drum set.  Beautiful picture Jason!

Jason writes:
Thank you for all of your help!!  After a dozen price quotes I finally settled on covering my 4-piece Premier Artist Birch kit from "Jolly green" to beautiful Vintage White Pearl. I'm not a do-it yourself-er,
but the finished product says it all! People couldn't believe these are my old drums, or that I did it myself. My next project is a 1970's Ludwig kit. It will be fun working on it. Thanks again,
Jason Shoemaker

Picture sent in (5/05) by Justin Boncore from San Diego, California of his snare drum.  Great job Justin!

Justin writes:
Hi Sam, First of all I would like all drummers to know that there are still some honest dealers out there!  Which of course is Sam Barnard.  Regarding my lug situation, your honesty saved me money and time.  I took your advice somewhere else [another dealer] and because of your honestly, my drum is now complete.  Certain dealers don't do that.  Sam, you asked me detailed questions I didn't think about- great customer service as though I was your only customer.
I like to mess with drums.  I have this one odd shell 10x16 (American made)...[that] I bought used for $15, [originally] blue sparkle.  [After filling unwanted holes] I called Jammin Sam, gave Sam my measurements and color.  Once again Sam expressed [helpful info.]- he [desired to] cut it down just a bit so the drum head would fit perfectly.  It does too!  I'm very impressed with this whole process, it's just so simple.  I know true facts from before and after.  Back in 1965-68 I worked in a drum factory "Drummers Paradise" in Kenmore, New York.  We made "E.W. Kent".  I worked everyday after school, and 8 hours on Saturdays.  The glue we used was very TOXIC.  My grades in school weren't very good, but I always had a smile on my face.  Now with Sam's drum wrap, it's remarkable for me to re-wrap a drum within minutes w/ no toxins and looking great!  I knew this drum would look good, as I took a few steps back to photograph this drum, I had a "look what I did" attitude.  My wife is a clean freak, she gets uneasy about drums, parts, etc. in the living room.  When I brought this drum in the living room she said, "Oh, that's pretty, leave it there, it looks like a nice piece of furniture."  Thanx again Sam, Justin Boncore

Picture sent in (February 2004) by Patxi Lebrancon from Vitoria Gasteiz, Spain; of his Maxtone drum set.  Wonderful work Patxi and great camera effects!

Patxi writes:
Hi Sam!  The work is done.  Here are some pictures of the "Maxtone" drums recovered.  This is a 20 year old set, originally black wrapped, that was in awful condition.  It took some time to bring it to life again, but recovering really took the smallest part of it!  When I finished the work, I couldn't believe how easy it had been.  The material doesn't affect the sound negatively...just the opposite, the drums sound better!!!! (I can't explain way)  These drums have received a lot of compliments, and many people couldn't recognize the set as that old set I had.  Thank you for your kind attention, fast shipping and superb material Sam.  We will work together again!  Patxi Lebrancon (Spain)

Patxi has a shop in Spain where they have a drum recovery service called "La Fusa".  For pricing and info. you can email him at:   info@lafusa.es  or phone:  34 (9) 45-275-423

Picture sent in (August 2006) by Gregg Orchard from Austin, Texas of his Ludwig snare drum with our "deluxe" throw-off.  Terrific work Gregg!

Gregg writes:
This is a picture of an old Ludwig snare that had been completely abused, and I mean abused.  I bought it 23 years ago at a flea market in St. Charles, IL. The shell had been drilled, and I’m pretty sure the lug pattern was never anything Ludwig ever did. I sold the original 30’s style throw off on Ebay. Anyway I salvaged the shell, lugs and brass hoops to come up with this finished product using your wrap and new throw off and butt plate. I’ve still got some detail work to do (new screws, etc.), but it sounds as good as it looks and the wrap was really easy to apply.  I’m sure I’ll be working with you again in the future.  Thanks, Gregg

We would like to feature your drums with our wrap here.
