Pictures sent in (February 2007) by Charles Benedicto from Darien, Connecticut of his Gretsch drum set.  Beautiful work Charles!

Charles writes:
Sam,  Here are a few Jpeg picture files of my recovered Gretsch drum kit.  The kit was covered with your Vintage white pearl. This kit consist of a 1950's 5x14 snare drum, 14x20 bass drum, 16x16 floor tom, a 1970's 12x14 suspended tom and a 9x13 rack tom.
These Gretsch drums were originally covered in a black pearl when
purchased, and fortunately...it was easy to remove.  The reason I decided to change the covering was that my first drum set was a white pearl Ludwig kit that I played and loved in my high school days in 1960, so it was natural that I cover this Gretsch kit in that finish. After watching your video on your web site I felt confident that I could handle the recovering myself. The covering went on so easy with your taping system. I think now the kit actually sound better than it originally did or maybe it sound better because it look so good.  Charles Benedicto

Pictures sent in (July 2006) by Bill Price from Birdsboro, Pennsylvania of his Premier drum set.  Great job Bill!

Bill writes,
I purchased this set of Premier drums in the mid 1970's and still play them today. The original color was white pearl but had severely yellowed and discolored over the years.  Your material was superior and the refinishing work was really very easy following your instructions.  You were also a pleasure to talk to on the phone and were very helpful answering my questions as I was preparing to order.  Every time I look at them it reminds me of the day I brought them home from the music store.  My friends are blown away at how great they look and thought I had purchased a new set.  Again thank you for everything!!  Bill Price.

We would like to feature your drums with our wrap here.
