Hello Sam
As you can see my Pacific snare drum came out looking spectacular with the matching WMP wrap you sent. I wish the rest of my drums were as bright white but hey they’re older and the fade is not bad at all.
I am very pleased but let me tell you it must have been a very old wrap bcuz I had to use a heat gun to remove the protective clear plastic and even then it did not peel off easily.
I spent well over 2 hours removing the very thin patchy residue it left behind. I tried several solvents including Goof Off, lighter fluid and paint thinner but ended up using Goo Gone along with Arm & Hammer whitening tooth paste and some old fashioned elbow grease. I was forced to do this all prior to any drilling of course but I followed your excellent instructions and didn’t have any issues. I placed the seam right behind the clutch. That wrap is very durable.
