There have been glass glitters made in the past (mostly in the early 1980’s), but the appearance was not as favorable as the sparkle finishes. The newer crop of glass glitters (offered since the late 1990’s) are the best to date and are extremely popular.
This color, first developed for Drum Workshop (DW) in the mid 2000’s, has a significantly darker appearance than the original green glass. Many drummers prefer this darker green that really enhances the chrome on a drum set.
As of today, we sell more custom cut, glass glitter kits, than we do sparkle finishes. The colors we sell in this type of wrap are: silver, red, gold, black, blue, deep blue, green, deep green, purple, tangerine, true black, turquoise, root-beer and pink.
