Marc writes:
The wrapping went smooth, everything was cut precisely and fit exactly as it should. The hoop strips were straight and fit right in the inlay. The shells are mid to late 70’s Pearl drums, it was a hybrid shell they made that consists of 7 plies of Mahogany with a single fiberglass inner ply for increased volume and attack. These shells went through several iterations through the 70’s and 80’s, a very time appropriate idea. 70’s Pearl [drum kit] rewrapped, relugged, re-edged, sounds fantastic.
