Sam, I finished my Ludwig kit last weekend and thought you would like to see how they came out. I ordered this set new in 1986. The covering was a grey metallic wrap. The direction for application you sent with my order were very easy to follow although I had to refer to them once or twice. The eyelet tool worked like a charm. The most time consuming for this project was getting the wrap square on the shells. Once the wrap was on square everything flowed perfectly. I took my time a few hours here and a few there until they were done. The vintage pearl is everything I hoped or thought it would be. Hope you can take a few on these photos and put them on your site. I hope to re-wrap my Sonor kit later in the year which would make another good winter project. Thank you… Tim for Massachusetts
