This was a fun project and turned out really nice. The guy that bought this kit, which was powered by a Roland TD20, is a new drummer, who decided to start out with an electronic kit. Boy did he start out with the best there is!! I can’t wait to start the next project. I shopped all of the big name drum parts stores on the internet looking for a bright yellow… everyone else’s was a darker orange-ish “mustard” color or I could pay a fortune to special order a Neon Yellow. If you are looking for a true yellow, this Tony Williams yellow is what you want!! The black hardware added the final touch. This kit was absolutely beautiful when I finished it. It is a hybrid electric kit that I built. It has gotten several good remarks from other drummers on www.vdrums.com saying that they love the color!!
