Hi Sam, I bought some drum wrap from you a few weeks ago and thought you might like to see the finished product. It’s actually a kit I built myself, and it was my first attempt at building one. (I think it turned out pretty well, too, even though I may be a little biased.) I wanted a kit that combined the look of a vintage kit with some of the aspects of the newer kits, like a bass drum without the tom mount and modern, heavy duty spurs. The vintage [sky] blue pearl wrap I got from you definitely gives it a classic, vintage look.
Before I started working on my kit, I did a lot of research on building drums on the internet. While doing this research, I came across your web site. I had never heard of using hi-bond tape to cover drums, but it sounded a lot easier than using glue, especially for someone with little to no experience like me. I had also seen your name and web site mentioned on some of the drum forums I had been visiting, all of which had very positive comments, so I thought I’d give it a try. I think the results speak for themselves. I’m very happy with the way it turned out. It only took a few hours to cover them, and it was very easy. Everybody that has seen the drums, has nothing but good things to say about them, especially when I tell them I built them.
Needless to say, I’m sure I’ll be building more drums in the future, and I’ll definitely be purchasing the drum wrap from you. A very satisfied customer,
