Sirs, Keeping in character with my slow response… here is a better picture of the wrap I installed on my DIY e-snare. It is a 12″ snare shell from a child/youth drum kit. It is wrapped in your [80’s] Black Diamond Pearl. I installed a Ludwig badge and grommet to pay tribute to my first kit — a Ludwig Club Date in black diamond pearl.
The wrap was installed about 4 years ago – I just replaced my original black mesh heads with new white mesh heads and cleaned up the shell – still looks great!
I bought two sections of [80’s] black diamond pearl wrap from you last year… yeah, I am a real Johnny-on-the-spot… and I finally installed one of them!
One section was for my 1963 Ludwig Pioneer snare shell, the other was for my DIY e-drum snare. My plan is to eventually wrap the old Ludwig as a reproduction of the snare from my first drum set, a Ludwig Club Date dated from 1961-early 1963 picture here of me with my old kit, back in the day:

I used the e-drum to test my installation technique…
I followed your steps and even did the ‘roll into a tight roll and sand on a flat surface’ to put a final fit to my drum shell. It all went together as advertised and I now have a beautiful 12″ [80’s] Black Diamond Pearl electric snare drum.
Since it may be another year before I get to actually working on the Ludwig Pioneer, I thought you might enjoy seeing my current completed drum. It is not a ‘real’ drum, nor is it a real Ludwig, but man… it looks cool, and represents a modern e-version of what I first played on…
Loving it – Thanks
