Alden writes:
This snare started its life as an early 1960’s Gretsch 14×14 floor tom. [It now has] 16 original lugs and badge, new internal muffler, Trick Multi-position snare throw, Stick Chopper style hoops, cut to 6.75″ deep, 10 ply maple rings added, and new bearing edges cut.
