The Rogers kit (pictured) was originally purchased for me as a gift from my father, Whitey Thomas, who was a member of the Glenn Miller Army Air Corp Band during WW2. This kit was purchased in 1969. I gave this kit to my younger brother, Kevin, who later sold it. This kit went thru about five (5) other owners before I, by chance, saw a photo of a Rogers kit I thought could possibly be my original kit. Long story short, it was my kit and the current owner shipped it to me free from Bakersfield, California.
I took several weeks removing the hardware and cleaning/sanding/prepping the shells for re-wrap of the original White Marine Pearl finish. I did a great deal of research on several wrap companies and decided on Jammin’ Sams for their excellent reputation, quality of materials, and willingness to answer any questions.
The end result is a suburb re-wrapping of a 50+ year (old) Rogers kit!
