Hello Sam, I recently purchased Vintage White Pearl wrap from you and absolutely love it! The kit I rewrapped is a 2007 Ludwig Accent “Zep Kit”. I use this kit full time professionally and it has played many outdoor stages and has been on tour many times in a very hot cargo trailer which over time caused the original silver sparkle wrap to warp and fade. I love the drums, perfect sizes and most importantly love the sound so much that it made no sense buying a new kit at the moment. A rewrap was definitely in order!
The [JamminSam] process was fairly easy but on a couple of the drums the [old] double sided tape originally used was hard to get off and took pieces of wood off. Nothing severe, fixed with sanding and very light fill. The tape they used was around the top, bottom and on the seam.
I was able to find repro keystone badges for cosmetic purposes only (not trying to fool anyone on the date or model). Your badge [eyelet installer] tool worked very easily and the drums turned out amazing!
