Doug writes:
Thanks for the great wrap, hardware, and for answering my questions one the phone. The vintage white pearl gave the exact look I was going for. I started out with my five piece Rogers 360 set that I bought back in 1984 (12”, 13”, 16”, 22” bass).
I purchased Rogers 360 expander kits a couple years ago (10”, 14”, 15”) off of eBay. The 10” tom was my guinea pig for beginning my wrap project. Unfortunately, I finished the 10” tom, loved it, then had to put my project on hold for a couple of years. Using an upcoming gig for inspiration to finish, I started working the drums again this past November. The difficulty with this project was that I knowingly purchased lug mounts that didn’t match the original holes, so I had to fill and re-drill about 100 new holes in the drums from the 10” to the bass drum. Once I got going, holes drilled, holes filled, new mounts, new tension rods, and after some lessons learned, I was finally able to complete my project and am extremely pleased with the results. I don’t bring all of the drums to a gig, just a select few, but the gigs I’ve played have gotten great reviews on the new look. Thanks again so much for the great wrap, hardware, and fantastic customer service!
